>Recognition for SmokeLong

>Well, this feels good. Found out about two different sources citing SmokeLong today, NewPages.com and the brand new All Write Stuff. NewPages.com lists Stuart Dybek’s Brisket among its recommended reads, and All Write Stuff gives a complete review of the mag (along with reviews of FRiGG and NOÖ Journal, a couple fine mags where I’ve been fortunate enough to appear). A snippet from that review:

This is an e-zine done right! For quality fiction that provides a lasting poignant effect, Smokelong Quarterly raises the bar.

Nice to get a little recognition. 🙂

And now, back to assembling the latest issue, which comes out tomorrow.

About smokelong

Our Mission: SmokeLong Quarterly is dedicated to bringing the best flash fiction to the web on a quarterly basis, whether writtenwidely published authors, or those new to the craft. The term "smoke-long" comes from the Chinese, who noted that reading a piece of flash takes about the same length of time as smoking a cigarette. All the work we publish is precisely that—about a smoke long.
