Deal Breakers in Flash:

“I often like stories that in some way explore the space between what’s said and what characters feel they can’t say. A deal breaker for me is a Manic Pixie Dream Girl/Guy character–a one-dimensional, free-spirited romantic interest who exists in the story almost exclusively to make the protagonist feel ‘more alive.'”

A Story She Loves:

The Prediction by Kama Post, in SmokeLong Quarterly.
