Wendy is the author of “How I Liked the Avocados,” which will be included in our upcoming anthology, SmokeLong Quarterly: The Best of the First Ten Years.
Wendy is a PhD candidate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she served as senior fiction reader for Prairie Schooner. She won the 2013 Washington Square Fiction Award (judged by Karen Russell), and her stories appear in Baltimore Review, [PANK], Copper Nickel, and elsewhere. Tomorrow, she’s moving back to Los Angeles.
Regarding her taste in flash, here are a couple of links:
“God, Two Girls” by Adeena Reitberger
“Don’t Worry” by Cheryl Klein
I don’t have any deal breakers. I’m just looking forward to reading.
